The Tea House session on Thursday April 8th welcomes in Mark Jolly to discuss the question of how to search for truth in our current world. The Baha’i principle of the independent investigation of truth is a fundamental and far reaching idea. It is ignorance and prejudice that lies at the root of disunity, but if we all explore truth openly and with an unbiased mind, we can find it together and use knowledge as a source of unity. In this discussion, Mark Jolly will share some thoughts on this critical issue and spur our discussion. Please join us!
A recent Modern Perspectives talk explored this issue from a different angle. Paymaneh Parhami asked the question- “Should religion be hereditary of chosen?”. You can listen to Paymaneh’s talk here.
