We warmly invite you to contact the Baha’i’s in your local area if you would like to explore the Baha’i Faith more. How you do that depends on where you live, as described below.
PA/NJ/Del
We are a Pennsylvania-based Baha’i website and if you live in the tri-state area (PA/NJ/Del), we can connect you directly if you email us at sifterofdust.org@gmail.com. Alternatively, you can connect via the pathway described below for the US national community.
United States
If you live in the US, the US National Baha’i community has a sophisticated system for connecting people to local Baha’i communities via their portal at bahai.us/contact/
Planet Earth
If you live anywhere in the world, you can find access to your national community at the international website bahai.org, and specifically the list of nations containing information on each country’s system for contact.
What to Expect
Once you contact the Baha’is, you will likely be offered the opportunity to join one of the community building processes intended to inspire in all of us a commitment to the spiritual and social development of neighborhoods. These include a devotional gathering open to all the members of a community, children’s classes, junior youth activities, and study circles. Adults often join a study circle to start learning more about the Baha’i Faith through its scriptures. The Baha’i teachings are incredibly beautiful and you will undoubtedly learn a lot, and be inspired, by its Writings. These activities are all described on the bahai.us website here. The entire bahai.us website has valuable information for a whole range of interests.
It should be mentioned that at no time will you be forced to join anything that makes you uncomfortable and you will never be asked for money. Only declared Baha’is can give to Baha’i funds. Our communities are structured for people to explore on their own terms, and join more formally if and when you like.
If you’d like to explore from afar, we welcome you to continue following our posts and other content on Sifterofdust.org.
